There is an Association des Tremblay d’Amerique. Its mission is: “Our Association exists since 1978 to gather all America’s Tremblay descendants and bring them to understand and fraternize while learning about our family history. Its main objective is to reunite all descendants and friends of our French ancestors Pierre Tremblay and Ozanne Achon.” You can find its Web site at:

Pierre Tremblay emigrated to “New France” circa 1652. I’ve heard there are tens of thousands of Tremblays living in North America who are all descendants of this single journeyman. Although there are several different spellings, “Tremblay” is the original.
